2. Rock band called: Aerosmith
3. What is the genre (theme): Romance
4. What is the type of music: Soft rock and this song was the best in 1998.
5. What is about it: This song I was listening to with my old brother and this song is about love and romance. I remember this band was really famous.
6. This song tells about treasuring every moment spent with another person. This song tells about the feeling in one’s heart.

Yasmin C.'s Entertainment Review

1. - Song Title: Eternal Love
Love Eternal
You are the sadness in my eyes That weep in silence for you love
I look at myself in the mirror and see my face, The time I've suffered because of your goodbye,
I force my thought to forget you, Because I'm always thinking of yesterday, I’d rather be sleeping than awake, Because of how much it hurts that you are not here How I wish, ay*, that you lived
That your little eyes never had closed And to be looking at them Love eternal and unforgettable
Sooner or later I will be with you To continue loving each other have suffered so much due to your absence Since that day up to today, I'm not happy And even though tranquil is my conscience
I know that I could have done more for you Dark solitude I am living, The same solitude of your grave
You are the love of which I have The saddest memory in Acapulco How I wish, ay*, that you lived That your little eyes never had closed And to be looking at them Love eternal and unforgettable
Sooner or later I will be with you To continue loving each other*ay: spontaneous exclamation that indicates hurt or pain

2. – Author ( Juan Gabriel)
3.- Genre: this song is a ballad
4.- The theme of this song is love; some people consider loving a mother.
5.- I love this song because always remember my mother, because she died a long time ago and for me, she is my love eternal, and I always miss her so much.
6.- I recommend if you have mother, love her, love her everyday because I know she is very important in life; unfortunately we realize that when we no longer have her, but is it never too late.

Adela's Hometown

Where I Grew up
Choix, Sinaloa is the small city where I grew up, and it is located in North West Mexico. In my neighborhood, there were a river, mountains, and many people talking out side of their homes, and you could smell fresh soil. My hometown made feel happy because I was with all my family, but sad because, I came here for a better life. It has been four years since I lived in my hometown, but I visit often. I have noticed many changes for example, now there are many people, many restaurants, and a movie theater. When I visit my city where I grew up, I feel happy because now it is more beautiful and bigger and because my family can live better and they are safe.

Pancho's Hometown

Remembering the Place Where I Grew Up
Ensenada was the small place where I grew up in Mexico. In my yard there were many different things like toys and cars everywhere. The only thing that was rough was that the streets were made just of sand. There were lots of snakes, lizards, and many weird things on the ground that were very poisonous. In the fall lots of families were outside celebrating Halloween and Thanksgiving. In December it’s very cold but lots of people get out and celebrate a holiday for the Virgin Mary, who is very important to all Mexicans. My hometown was so free that you could do whatever you wanted and you would not get in trouble with anyone. You could go to parties, clubs, or just hang out outside. The only thing was that you had to be very careful because there were many people that were bad and would hurt you. That was why you always had to be safe in whatever you did. I haven’t gotten to visit in a long while, but I think it looks better than what it used to look like. At least I have half my family here with me and they care about me a lot.

Santiago's Hometown

About MY Hometown
Nochixtlan, Oaxaca, Mexico is my hometown, and it is located in South East Mexico. It is a small town but the people are very generous. Also in my hometown there was a river, trees, some mountains and a lot of houses. All the streets were always very quiet. I grew up in my town all my childhood and I used to played soccer, marbles, basketball and other games with my friends. I ‘m proud to be born in this hometown and sometimes I feel sad because I have many years that I haven’t been able to go to my hometown. I came to this country five years ago to look for a better life for my family and I’m happy in this country because here are more opportunities than in my country and I like to live in this place because I have a great family and I can give them a better life.

Honorina's Hometown

Remembering the Place Where I Grew Up
Ocotlan city is the small sized town where I grew up and it is located in the southeast of Oaxaca, Mexico. When I lived there, I saw people sweeping every Sunday and the women making tortillas by hand. There were the mayor’s houses. Nature was grass, apple trees, and orange trees. There were peanuts everywhere and a water park in my hometown. I could smell orange flowers and fresh bread. I heard dogs barking, birds singing, and roosters crowing every morning. Two years ago I visited there for Christmas vacation. Now it is very different. There are more cars, more houses, and more construction. My hometown made me feel happy because all my family was there and I could speak my own language, but it was difficult to get a good job. Now I feel excited and sometimes nervous when I think about my hometown. I miss my friends, parents, and family who are there.

My Hometown
Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, is located in south central of Mexico, and is a medium size town where I grew up. In my city we grow many different trees like guava trees, mango trees, some fields with corns, watermelon, and cucumber. The street is noisy with many sounds of birds singing, buses and cars passing by the main street. Sometimes it smells like fresh flowers combined with wet soil, and sometimes like smog. My hometown made me feel happy because I grew up with many friends. Also, I feel safe because I knew all my neighbors and we always helped each other. It has been eleven years, since I came here. I have noticed some changes, for example, now there is more traffic and big freeways like here. I imagine they build more business buildings and hotels. When I think about the place where I grew up, I feel bitter sweet because I like my home town and I like this town too. I also feel sad because my old friends live there, and I feel exited because my parents are living here.

Zeferino's Hometown

My Hometown
Guerrero, Mexico is the small city where I grew up, and it is located southwest of Mexico City. In my neighborhood there were a lot of cows, pigs, horses, donkeys, dogs, and sheep. I heard a lot of sounds of domestic animals and some cars passing every once in a while. During the summer many people slept outside of their homes and they could smell fresh grass, mangos, guavas, and trees. Also, many people could see in the sky the stars at nighttime. I was happy in my hometown because I felt more secure and happy with all my family, but it was difficult to get a good job. Also, there was not a lot of traffic or noises like in a big city. I lived in my hometown for 31 years. In my hometown I worked in agriculture, but now I’m living in Oceanside, California, and I usually visit my hometown every year for Christmas on vacation. Now my hometown has changed a lot. There are more people and more traffic. More people have moved from their ranches to the city. Also, there are more places to visit such as parks, restaurants, churches, and supermarkets for shopping. I feel happy when I visit my hometown where I grew up. In conclusion, my hometown is beautiful and the people are friendly and honest.

My Favorite Hometown
I grew up in three places in Mexico. I was born in Atoyac de Alvarez, Guerrero,Mexico, but lived here for only ten years because afterwards I went to Cuernavaca, Morelos,Mexico, and next Manzanillo. This town is my favorite place. Manzanillo is the small-sized town where I grew up for six years. It is located in the Mexican Pacific Coast in the state of the Colima, Mexico .This town is very nice because it has many different places to visit ,for example, a volcano (Nevado de Colima), mountains, and different animals. It has modern buildings and big hotels. Manzanillo has many activities and a major source of work is the port because boats arrive daily with merchandise to import or export. Manzanillo is now considered one of the most important ports in Mexico. In my small neighborhood, the street was quiet, with only the sound of the cars passing daytime and the night time was very quiet. On the weekends you could walk in the principal street or on the beach, listen to the waves, and smell the breeze and the flowers. This place makes me feel happy because my brothers live here. I also feel sad because it was difficult to get a good job. On my last visit, I saw many changes. It has new buildings, more traffic, and better infrastructure. I feel nostalgic when I think about my favorite place to live because I miss my brothers and my friends.

Memories from my Hometown
My hometown where I grew up is situated in south central of Michoacán Mexico. My hometown is a small town, but we have all the comfort that we need. We have a lot of vegetation because we have 3 spring wells. We have a beautiful views of hills covered with trees and amazing flowers. There are different activities like swimming, riding horses, jogging and many other sports. I remember that there were only a few cars, so we could play without concern for the traffic. In the summer time the people from my town used to go swimming in the spring water pool, but in winter the climate was too cold. Mi hometown has dairy farms, farmer pigs, cheese factories also they plant corn, strawberries potatoes, tomatoes, and delicious avocados. I remember my mom sent me to the bakery remember much about the smell of fresh bread, all the houses are close together and the people is friendly we know each other. We have a huge church, in the mornings you can hear the ringing bells, birds and rosters singing. My hometown make feel relax and happy. My hometown
I grew up in a small town in Oaxaca, MĂ©xico, called Santa Gertrud is. Santa gertrudis is located in the South part of Oaxaca. Making tortillas, feeding the animals, and helping out my parents around the house were some activities I did everyday in the morning I saw neighbors and friends up very early to go work on their crops and to feed their animals. Every morning I heard the rooster crowing, the cows mooing, and the dogs barking. I would see mountains, rivers, fruit trees, and many animals on my way work with my dad in the fields. Everywhere throughout the town you could smell the delicious food from each house, the small of dew, and the smell of fruit, from the fruit trees. Being my hometown made me feel happy as well as sad, because I was with family, could speak my own language, but at the same time, it was difficult to get a job there. Visited Oaxaca last year and try to visit every two years. Now Santa Gertrud is has changed in many ways, there are more roadways, better buildings, and less people. I am home sick, but one day I will return.

My hometown makes me feel happy because my friends and many memories existed there. It has been five months since I last visited my beautiful city. I have noticed some changes for example, now there are new cinemas, beaches access, stores, streets and University campuses. In summary, when I think about my beautiful city, I feel happy because of the great memories that I had there, and sad because everything is different now.

Martha's Review

One Hundred Years of Solitude
1 Full title: One Hundred years of Solitude
2 Author: Gabriel Garcia Marquez
3 Type of work: Novel
4 Genre: Magical realism
Time and place written 1965-1967 Mexico City
Date of first publication 1967
Publisher Editorial Sudamericanos, SA
Narrator Omniscient and anonymous, but primarily concerned with what the Buedias are doing and how they are feeling.
Theme
Themes are the fundamental and often universal ideas explored in literary work.
The subjectivity of Experienced Reality.
Although the realism and magic that one hundred yeas of solitude includes seen at first to be apposite, they are, in fast, perfectly reconcilable. Both are necessary in order to convey Marquez’s particular conception of the word, Marquez’s novel reflects reality not as it is experienced by one observer, but as it is individually experienced by those with different backgrounds. These multiple perspectives are especially appropriate to the unique reality of Latin America cough between modernity and pre-industrialization; torn by civil war, and ravaged by imperialism where the experiences of people vary much more that they might in a more homogenous society. Magical realism conveys a reality that incorporates the magic that superstition and religion infuse into the word.
